IL-33(释放于坏死细胞)动员杀伤性T细胞应对病毒感染
◆原理
细胞死亡后会释放一类特殊的蛋白质 Alarmin(暂译为警报素),通过检测 Alarmin 可识别组织创伤。然而在抗病毒免疫系统中,Alarmin 所起的作用不是很明确。最近瑞士日内瓦大学和德国柏林夏里特医科大学研究人员发现在脾脏和淋巴结中病毒的复制可导致受感染的细胞死亡。这些坏死的细胞可释放出 Alarmin,其中主要的是白介素-33(IL-33),它可通过 ST2 受体激活 CD8+ T(CTLs)细胞,对病毒感染作出反应。研究发现缺乏 IL-33 的小鼠,CTL 对病毒感染的免疫反应也较低。此项研究具有里程碑意义,因为提出了一个新的免疫机制:坏死细胞会释放出 Alarmin 动员杀伤性T细胞应对感染,在未来对抗艾滋、丙型肝炎而开发新的疫苗,对于癌症治疗有重要作用。
