Wako Anti Iba1, Monoclonal Antibody (NCNP24)

Iba1 is a protein highly expressed in microglia and macrophage with a molecular weight of about 17 kDa. The protein is a commonly known as a microglial marker in the central nervous system.
Recently, microglia has been extensively studied because they are responsible for immune function in the central nervous system, and are related to various diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases, mental illuness, brain tumors and infection.

as well as using Anti Iba1, Rabbit polyclonal antibody (Wako Cat. No.019-19741 019-19741).

♦ Assay Condition:

· Sample: cerebral cortex of 7-week Wistar rat, 7-week ICR mouse, or adult marmoset

· Section: 50μm-frozen section (mouse and rat), 40μm-frozen section (marmoset)

· Staining method: ABC method + DAB staining

· Antibody concentration = 1: 500
